It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Dueck on Mar 13, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He had a strong faith and trust in God and is now in his Heavenly home. A man of integrity, strong work ethic, and a special love for people. Peter was born in Margenau, Ukraine on June 25, 1926. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Margaret Dueck, sisters Margaret and Lena and brother Gerhard in infancy. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Margaret, sons George, Henry (Susan) and Walter, grandchildren Steve (Alyssa), Dan (Natasha), Justin (Rachel), Jeff (Holli-Noelle) and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters, Kaethe, Frieda and one brother Heinrich in Germany. Peter also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. A viewing to be held at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm to be held on Monday, March 20, 2017
at the Greendale MB Church, 6550 Sumas Prairie Road, Chilliwack. Special thanks to the CGH staff who helped care for Dad during his final 3 weeks in hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MCC of BC. Online condolences to the family may be made to www.wiebeandjeskefh.com

I have known Peter as a customer at the health food store for many years, both – while at the Vitamin Centre, and the Sardis Health Food Store. His display of his faith and hope in God was always apparent to me.
May the Lord God strengthen you, all, and be with you at this time of grieving the passing of Peter, and always remember – that we will meet with Peter again – in the Kingdom of God – which goes into eternity.
