Abe Kampen

April 21, 1936 - September 19, 2020

Tribute

Abe Kampen passed away, held in the warm embrace of his family on September 19, 2020.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Katie, his four children, David (Connie), Rita, Ruth (Don), Dan (Danielle), six grandchildren, his only brother John (Betty) and many other relatives and dear friends.
As an immigrant who came to Abbotsford in 1951, he worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family over his 50 years as a chicken farmer.
He taught by example and was sought out for his wise and accepting presence. He was a dedicated charter member of Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church and faithfully supported causes near to his heart.
Abe’s gentle and generous spirit will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Sadly, due to COVID-19, funeral services are by invitation only.
