Tribute

Born on February 2^nd 1932 in Filadelfia, Paraguay, and graduated into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Monday October 8^th 2018 surrounded by his family at the age of 86.  Abe was a kind-hearted, quiet-spoken gentle man with a passion to serve his Lord which was evident to all he met.  He was particularly fond of sharing his musical gifts, that of the piano, organ and in later years his accordion where he would accompany and lead worship songs in church, bible studies and the Home where Erika and his 2 sisters live.  He was selfless and exemplified a servant heart in what he did. He is survived by his wife Erika and will be dearly missed by his children:  Sieghard Toews (Anni), Heidi Knutson (Carl), Linda Letkemann (Jake) and Edward Toews, his step-children Anneliese Friesen (Herb), Monika Thiessen (Bob), Helmuth Janzen and his greatly treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at King Road MB Church on Tuesday October 23^rd at 1:00 p.m.
