Tribute
Agnes Tschetter went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She passed away suddenly at the Royal Columbian Hospital at the age of 76 years. Agnes was born in the Ukraine on August 11, 1939. She loved to give and share with those in need and spent much of her time serving at MCC and Hungry for Life in the Ukraine. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Frank and her parents. She is survived by her sister Katie (Peter) Rempel; daughters Veronica (Douglas) Walter and Margo (Randy) Hoffmann; son Ron Tschetter; five grandchildren Jordan (Natasha), Rachelle (Matt), Jeremy (Lisa), Kayla and Tristan; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and their children. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 2 at 1:30 at Eden Mennonite Church in Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, should family and friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to “Hungry for Life” or “Mennonite Central Committee”.
