Alice Jongsma

Tribute

Alice passed away peacefully on October 15, 2015 after a short battle with cancer.  She was born on May 11, 1934 in Aalsum, Friesland, The Netherlands and is survived by her daughter Florence  (Gary) and son Harvey (Sharon); 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother Epp (Kathleen); sister-in-law Hilda and numerous nieces and nephews.  Alice was predeceased by her parents Douwe and Wietske Talstra; husband John Jongsma; daughter Wilma Versteeg; and brother Jack Talstra.  We are deeply grateful for the wonderful care she received from the staff at Abbotsford Hospital and Christine Morrison Hospice.  A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford.
