Alix Courtenay Simpson
March 24, 1975 - December 12, 2018
Tribute
Courtenay succumbed to breast cancer after a courageous two year battle. She is survived by her partner Fred Davies, father John, brother Drew and family, and by many aunts, cousins and dear friends. Courtenay was a selfless woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness and empathy, especially toward children and animals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, or the Palliative Care Unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
We will be gathering in honour of her life on January 12, 1-4 pm at 501 Pacific Street, Vancouver

Relation: Courtenay was a long time friend of our family.
Our whole family was so very sad to hear that dear Courtenay has passed away. i first met her as a little girl, attending Uplands Elementary with my sons, Che and Micah. She and Che became lifelong friends and we were so glad that the connection continued over the years. She spent time here in our home visiting from time to time,and I feel blessed to have know Courtenay and enjoyed her kindness and her contagious smile. Please accept our deepest sympathy on her passing. She is at peace, but we will miss her greatly. Shirley Koroll
