Anna Schellenberg went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 23, 2019. She was born May 30, 1933 in Filadelphia, Paraguay. She lived to be 85 years old and will be lovingly and deeply missed by her children Erica, Herta (h:Bob), Margita (h:John), Elsie (h:Art), Arvid (w:Ingrid), Ron (w:Carolyn), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be on Thursday March 7, 2019
Graveside Service – 10:00am at Maclure Mennonite Cemetery
Celebration of Anna’s life – 11:30am at King Road MB Church.

Relation: A customer with her sons and husband at Ricky’s Restaurant for many Saturdays.
Ron, Arvid, Ingrid, Meaghan : Liz and I , Maria ( from Ricky’s ) were planning to come to your mother’s celebration of life memorial at King Road today. However, I still have this ongoing cough ( two weeks now) and it is still not better. In case I still carry the virus, I do not want others to get it. I spoke to Liz today and she does not feel comfortable driving in the snow, Sorry we can’t be there in person to support you as you process the loss of your mom and grandmas physical life. Know that her spirit continues to live closer to God’s Presence AND in your hearts. Part of your heart has gone with her, but trust me….your heart will expand in that area in coming years if your u are open to more love. You were so supportive when I lost our son Derek, and I enjoyed working with Meaghan, too. I miss those Saturday mornings when your family came in for breakfast….and often think of you and the peach icing that was also my favorite French Toast topping! Know you and your families are in our hearts and prayers despite our not being at King Road physically. I suspect the snow falling this morning had something to do with her spirit and God’s holding you in the palm of His hand. Derek’s last resting spot is also at McClure.
