Tribute

Mom was born August 3, 1930 in Beechy, Saskatchewan to parents Jacob B. Hamm and Anna Hamm (Woelk).  She passed away June 13, 2026 in Abbotsford.

Anne was baptized in 1954 at the Black Creek MB Church.  She affirmed her faith in Jesus as her Saviour at age 13.

Anne was married to John Rempel at age 19 and lived in the Arnold area on a dairy farm.  She worked hard to provide for their family of 4 growing children.

After moving to a townhouse in Abbotsford she became a self-employed, accomplished seamstress.  The Arnold Community Church was an important part of her life and she attended until shortly after she became unable to drive.

In 2023 the need for full-time care necessitated a move to Menno Hospital where she received compassionate care until her passing on June 13, 2026.

Mom is survived by her children: Judy Prachnau, Johnny Rempel and Karen Isaak; as well as 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, siblings, son David and son-in-law Rob Isaak.

PSALM 121

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
