April 29, 1937 - December 13, 2015

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Annie Dietterle on December 13, 2015 at Royal Columbian hospital surrounded by her loving family. Annie was born in Josephstal, Ukraine on April 29, 1937 and immigrated to Canada in 1950 with her parents Wilhelm and Eleonore Kuhn, sister Frieda, and brother Emil and settled in Coaldale, Alberta.  Sister Marianne was born later in Canada.  Annie married Hugo on January 30, 1959 and moved to Calgary, Alberta where their two sons, Hugo and Harold were born. They later moved to Winfield, BC in 1964 where their daughter Barbara was born.  In 1991 they moved to Abbotsford, BC.  Annie is survived by her loving husband Hugo of 56 years of marriage, children Hugo Jr. (Isabella), Harold (Charlotte) and Barbara (Jim) and seven grandchildren, Phylicia, Steven, Ashley, Michelle, Justin, Chelsey, and Tina.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, Oma, Tante Annie and best friend to all. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, 2029 Ware Street, Abbotsford, BC.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Children's Hospital are greatly appreciated.
