Tribute
It is with great sadness the family announces Annie’s passing on March 2, 2025 at the age 94 years in Ridge Meadows Hospital.
Annie (nee Bravar) was born April 25, 1930 in Ladysmith, BC. She is survived by her sons Ken (Beverly predeceased) and David (Tracy); grandchildren Stephen, Matthew, Kristi, David, Katelynn and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Mike and son Michael. Annie will be cremated and interred with husband Mike at Ocean View Cemetery.
There will be no service as per Annie’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the hospice of your choice or Canadian Diabetes Association.

My sincerest condolences to Annie’s family. Annie and my mother were good friends at the independent living place they were in. They had a lot in common and got along great and enjoyed their bingo and horse races together. They shared a lot of laughs together. I’d like to think they are together again sharing those laughs. ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss, Ken, David and your family. I have fond memories of Mike and Annie as a child visiting their home in Champlain Heights and playing at the park across the street (from their home). My father, Luka Dosen, was family to Mike, I believe first or second cousins. My father passed away in 2007 and I live in Minnesota, so it has been a while since the extended family has seen each other. I remember Annie as a wonderful person. Wishing you all well at this sad time. Take care of each other.
