“Aron Martens passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on February
12th, 2017. Born 95 years ago on November 22nd, 1921 in Franztal, Russia to
Aron and Helena(Abrahams) Martens.Survived by his brother Victor(BethAnn)
Martens. Predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Adina (Wiens) in 2004, sons Larry
(1994), John (2009) and grandson Jamie (1992). He leaves to mourn his
children Angie (Jim Barnes), Viola (David Krueger), Dorothy (Allen Hiebert)
Len (Trudi Martens) and daughter in law Judy (Rempel) Martens. Also 13
grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
A celebration of Aron's life will be held on Friday, March 10th, at 1:00
pm at Bakerview Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, with a reception
to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the charity of
your choice.”
