Bradley Michael Ross Hartling passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 36. He was born in Chilliwack, BC on December 19/1986.
He is survived by Kaylyn Andress and their son Ayden Hartling, Taryn Sparkes and their sons Keenan Hartling and Bryson Hartling, Samantha Farrar and their son Theodore (Teddy) Farrar-Hartling and Brad’s girlfriend Amber Best and their son Jackson Hartling. Along with Brad’s children he is survived by his two stepsons Liam Farrar and Robby Raber. Brad is survived by both of his parents Debra Hartling and Mike Hartling and his sister Breanna Lafrance.
Brad loved all his children and his animals. He had a very close relationship with his family. Brad had an important role at The Royal Hotel over the period of Covid, to making sure the hotel was always secure during lockdown, to helping adapt the hotels business model to a no contact check-in system. Brad loved his old clunker cars and loud trucks. He was known to get stuck 4x4ing and laughing around the campfires.
Brad’s contagious smile and heart-warming laugh will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service for Brad will be held at the Alliance Church, on Young Road in Chilliwack on Friday February 3rd, 2023 at 2pm. If you would like to attend or have any questions, please email sam_red1@hotmail.com

Brad was a very good friend of mine. One of my longest, 15 years of friendship. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything I needed and always made me laugh. He taught me to be confident behind the wheel of a big truck, and always let me drive his 4×4. I would like to send my condolences to his family. Brad was a wonderful person and an amazing friend. I will miss him very much.

I knew Brad basically my entire life, i dont remember being alive before knowing him. His mom is like a second mother to me, and has helped me thru so much in life to say the least. i taught him how to ride a bike and we were military brats together. our moms were close friends growing up as we were, and even though sometimes we would have gaps with communication we would always find our way back to eachother somehow. its just now that ive been able to sit down and write this condolence as i live in penticton and couldn’t get down for the service and have been in complete disbelief ever since. he was always there for me thru so much and we have so many memories from young childhood all the way up to adulthood. I never got a chance to meet his last couple kids and hadnt’ seen him for a few years and am regretful of that. he was a great guy, so funny and always so willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. I’ll miss you so much Bradley, or as Payton would call you, Mayo man. haha. (inside joke) I’ll miss you forever my buddy and see you in the next life! love you so much Brad xoxoxoxxo Vic
