Bruce George Mutch

September 4, 1950 - July 24, 2018

Tribute

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Bruce George Mutch on July 24, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born to George and Joyce Mutch on September 4, 1950 at Cottage Hospital, Abbotsford, BC. Bruce is survived by his wife Margaret, brother Norm and his buddy “Herman”, many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many very dear friends including Jenna, Chris, and Wendy from Australia.  Bruce recently completed a close to 50-year history as an owner/operator with Columbia Bitulithic, of which he was very proud.  This allowed him to develop a forever friendship with many of the guys and gals. The endless trucker stories are known by all who knew him.  Bruce enjoyed a short career of drag racing with his dream car “Tequila Runner” at Mission Raceway Park. His other enjoyed pastime was sipping on a cold “Bud” on the river bank around the firepit at Keremeos and traveling in Mexico with friends.  The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support through this very difficult time.  Donations may be made to the charity of your choice, Fraser Valley Cancer Fund or Palliative Critical Care Unit in memory of Bruce.  At Bruce’s request there be no formal service. Enjoy a cold one and think of him at the firepit at a later date.  Rest in peace my FRIEND and I will see on the finish line with a cold one.

Love you always,

Your loving wife Marge,

Brother Norm, and buddy Herman
