Tribute

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our mom, grandma and best friend, Carol Ann Lawson (nee Fisher).  Carol will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to have been touched by her giving heart and caring hands.  She was truly a giver – to family, charity, community, friends and even to strangers.  Carol is predeceased by her mother and stepfather Betty and Tup Tupper; her father Leonard Fisher, her sister Patti and brother Richard.  She is survived by her children Jacquie and Jim Mlcak, Wendi and Paul Chiavacci; her grandchildren Christopher Chiavacci, Michelle Mlcak, Carlo Chiavacci, Candace Mlcak and by many nieces and nephews who all considered her their fun Aunt Carol.  She is also survived by other relatives and very special friends.  A memorial service for Carol will be held Friday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a gathering at Ledgeview Golf Course, 35997 McKee Road, Abbotsford.  In lieu of flowers a donation to the Abbotsford Food Bank would be appreciated, www.abbotsfordfoodbank.com, or  bring a non perishable donation to the service.
