Tribute
Casper went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Dec 27, 2016 after a month stay at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He was born Dec l, 1928 in Rotterdam, Holland. On May 14, 1952 he married the love of his life, Lena, of over 64 years. They left Holland 10 days after their wedding and settled in the Abbotsford area. Together they worked at various trades, farming, retail store, flowers, building and the latter years as a Missionary and preacher in the Ministry of his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his loving wife Lena Van de Wetering, 6 children, Jeannette (Jim), Bert (Mary), Henry (Paula), Leona (Chris), David (Cathy), Diane (Reg), 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service at the Evangelical Free Church in Abbotsford on January 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their compassion and care over the past month. John 3:16.
