Tribute

Charlene Beryl Connors, 58, passed away on May 14, 2015 in Surrey, BC. She was born in Halifax, NS to the late John Thomas Connors, QC and Doris Elizabeth (Esson) Connors on March 30, 1957. She attended the Halifax Ladies College where she gained many friends with whom she was still in contact. She moved to Edmonton, AB with the family and eventually met and married her former spouse, Dale Harrison in 1988. They had one son, Nigel Thomas Connors, born in 1990. Charlene and Nigel moved to Chilliwack, BC in 2003 where she was an active member of Mountain View Church, providing warmth and encouragement to everyone around her. She was a very loving and caring person who would always be there for anyone in need. She loved to read and crochet, making many potholders for the kitchen at Stillwood Camp, where Nigel works, ensuring that an impact of her love will be felt for years to come. She enjoyed spending time and playing with her cats, which were a major source of enjoyment and love through her illnesses and towards her final days. She was the sister of the late James L. Connors, Q.C. (Cathy), and is survived by her siblings Charles Connors (Melissa), Camille Stokoe (Tim), and Nicole Connors. Memorial to be held at Stillwood Camp, Lindell Beach, BC, Thursday May 21 at 3pm. Charlene’s ashes will be scattered privately by Nigel at a later date.
