Tribute
It is with an extremely sad and heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to a very strong and courageous woman. My Mother, Christine Patricia Niemela, at the age of 67. Christine lost a long and courageous battle with Kidney Disease, and sadly passed away on June 1st, 2017 in Abbotsford, BC.
She passed peacefully with the people that she cared about the most by her bedside.
Christine was born, Christine Patricia Clarke in London, England on January 25, 1950 to parents Herbert & Gladys Clarke. She had an extremely kind and caring heart and always took the time to be there for others in need, whenever possible, regardless of how she was feeling.
Christine was very strong willed and when she put her mind to doing something, nothing would stand in her way. She had accomplished so many great things in her short life with us, and has taught many of us who knew her well the true meaning of words like Brave, Strong, and Courageous.
She fought such an amazing fight for so many years and she never gave up. We are so proud of her for being so brave throughout it all.
Christine is survived by her two sons, Wayne & Marc, Daughter-In-Law Cabby, Brother Michael, and two sisters Joan & Pauline, other Family Members and close Friends.
We love you so much and our hearts are broken now that you are gone, but we know you are in a much better place. You will be deeply missed Christine, Rest in peace Mum. Your memories will live on with all of us. Until We Meet Again.

A private Memorial gathering will occur with Family & Friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation in her memory.
