Christopher Lee Snape Junior
January 14, 1986 - May 29, 2023
Tribute
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my big brother, Christopher Lee Snape Jr. Christopher is survived by his birth mother, Lisa-Mae Fowler and bonus mother Carrie Lynn Snape; his siblings Tawnya (Tyler) Boyd, Courtney (James) Day, Andrew (Jacqueline) Snape, and Danica Carlson; his nieces and nephews: Kennedy, Bryce, Serenity, Madyson, Elijah, Tyler, Olivia and Hayes as well as his Nanny Carol Stacey; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Christopher Lee Snape Sr., his grandparents Bruce Fowler, Elizabeth McDougall, Patricia Fowler, Doug McDougall and Leonard Stacey.
Christopher was born on January 14th , 1986, in Burnaby, British Columbia to Christopher Snape Sr. and Lisa-Mae Fowler. He later gained another mother, Carrie Lynn Snape after moving across Canada to Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia with his father. Christopher graduated Business Management in 2008, moved back to BC to follow his dreams, and shortly after became the proud owner of a painting business.
Christopher became an honorary Godfather to his best friend/sister’s son, Hayes. He helped Danica raise him from a very young age. Christopher loved the ocean, both back home in beautiful Nova Scotia, and his new home in British Columbia. He loved working on the Denali (his baby) and Lancer, and helping anyone fix their own vehicles. He enjoyed playing Xbox and reading, especially topics on building his business. Christopher had a strong artistic flair with anything to do with painting, drawing, or designing. He spent many hours drawing pictures of his vehicles or favourite anime characters.
Christopher is loved by many people and will be missed dearly by all. For those back home in Nova Scotia, there is a celebration of life in the works for summer 2024.
“It hurts to love you, but I love you still. Miss you with all my heart, you know I always will.”
“Lean on me, when you’re not strong, and I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on.”
“Don’t cry for me, I’m alright. I’m better than you know. And this life can be a short ride, so don’t waste
it on sorrow. Just hold on to these moments and the memories we shared. We’re both headed for the
same place anyway, I just beat you there.”
