Tribute
Cornelis Versteeg was born on May 17, 1950 in Waardenburg, the Netherlands to Gerard and Teuntje Versteeg. He passed away peacefully on October 4, 2016 after dealing with Parkinson’s disease for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma and is survived by his brothers Sjon (Engelien) and Bert (Marian), his two daughters Jolene and Janice (Jon), his son Jared, and by his grandchildren Brooklynn and Mackenzie.
Cornelis spent his final days at Maplewood House, where he was regularly visited by family members and friends. We are deeply grateful to all the staff who lovingly cared for our father.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on October 14, 2016 at Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maplewood Senior Care Society.
