Tribute

Dave Falk passed away unexpectedly at the age of 88 in Surrey, BC. Dave will be remembered for his dedication to God and the church. He is predeceased by his wife of almost 40 years. Dave also loved to play scrabble, cribbage or any games with the family. He enjoyed travelling. His favorite trips were the ones they made to Israel, Mexico, Caribbean and the many cruises they went on.
Dave grew up in Lowe Farm, Manitoba. He then left his parents farm to work in the gold mines in Leach, Ontario. He discovered mining was not for him and pursued a career in trucking, which eventually led him to his main profession of welding. He was a very accomplished welder and enjoyed his trade.
In 1975 Dave moved to the Lower Mainland and in 1976 he married his long time church friend Anne.
Dave had 3 sisters and 5 brothers, Dick (Helen) Falk, Jake (Tina) Falk, Susan (Jules) Banman, Henry (Kay) Falk, Abe (Helen) Falk, Cornelius (Jan) Falk, Margaret Falk, Helen (Walter) Hamm, and many nieces and nephews.
Dave is survived by his brother Cornelius (Jan), his 2 children, Garry (Laurie) Falk, Linda (Marvin) Isaac, 3 stepchildren, Gladys (Chuck) Russell, Myrna (Ray) VanTighem, Rob Wiebe (Dawn), 14 Grandchildren and 20 Greatgrandchildren.
The graveside service was held May 12, 2022 attended by immediate family only.  Dave is buried at the Fort Langley Cemetery alongside his wife, Anne Falk.
Celebration of Dave’s Life will take place on June 25, 2022 at the Crispin Bay Clubhouse at 7790 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC at 2:00 PM
