Tribute

On Monday October 10th at 63 years David A. Gunther, beloved husband and father, passed into the arms of Jesus. Born to Peter and Melane Gunther in Winnipeg Manitoba, then relocating to Abbotsford BC, Dave attended Mouat high school where he met Teresa (Tukker), who became his wife of 43 years. They were blessed with 4 children (Larina [Mark], Melanie, David [Ashley], and Joel [Brenddan]) and 5 grandchildren (Kyuss, Madeline, Frankie, Maeve and Amelia). Dave was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and fishing with Teresa, serving the Lord and always helping others wherever he could. Dave ran his own business Gunther & Sons Hauling for many years, and then worked with Sumas Transport before joining Vedder Transport as a driver in 1991. He remained with Vedder for the remainder of his life as a dedicated and respected dispatcher. The funeral will be held on Wednesday October 19th at 2pm, in Trinity Christian Reformed Church of Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers please consider the BC Cancer Society. The family is so thankful for all your prayers and kind words during this difficult time.  We will miss Dave but know he is with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
