With deep sadness and loving remembrance, we share that Dianne Grace Harvey passed away on July 3, 2025, in Coquitlam, BC, at the age of 86. Born in Duncan, BC, on November 24, 1938, Dianne lived a full and spirited life, grounded in love, friendship, and family.
Dianne is survived by her devoted partner Doug; her daughter Terry Begemann (Marcel); her son Greg Harvey (Diane); her cherished eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as her dear friend Jaquie Stevenson, who held a special place in her heart. Dianne was immensely proud of her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
A proud and longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi, Dianne cultivated deep connections and friendships throughout her life. She found joy in life’s little adventures—whether casting a line while fishing, trying her luck at the casino, or settling in to enjoy a favorite game show on TV. Dianne was known for her sharp wit, bold spirit, and loving heart. She never missed a chance to laugh, tease, or share a story, and her feisty energy left an impression on everyone she met.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where stories and laughter will be shared in her honor.
Dianne loved yellow roses and butterflies. When you see one, take a moment to smile—she is never far.
