So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I have many a memory as a young girl flying in his plane with my Dad, Lorne. My heartfelt wishes to Don’ s family and friends and know you have great memories like I do.

From: Donna McLeod
Relation: Friend from “the old days”.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Don Pountney on his recent passing. Many years ago my partner and I would “double date” with Don and Rose and one year we shared a lovely vacation in Hawaii. Don was a thought-provoking person with interesting opinions. He no longer was a young man when he passed but I was saddened to read that he had left us. RIP Don Pountney. We won’t soon forget you.

From: Charlotte Seehawer
Relation: Nephew

Uncle Don provided his nephew Mark the financial means to receive the gift of 20/20 eye sight just days before his passing. Mark will miss the weekly emails that made him laugh. We send our deepest condolences to Hedy and Ed. See you on the flip side Partner. Mark and Charlotte Seehawer

Don will forever be remembered by us for his joke telling! He was one of the last old schoolers who went to work in the oil fields when he was 15 years old and when he came home he bought his Dad his first car! A true gentleman. #RIP Don. We’re gonna miss ya ❤️
