With much sadness we announce the passing of Doris.She is survived by her sisters – Marlene (Walter) Wiebe
of Osoyoos, Mary (Waldemar) Janzen of Winnipeg, Victoria (Arthur) Hoock of Abbotsford, seven nephews,
and one niece. She was an avid reader, a faithful CBC listener, a lover of nature, and kept detailed records of
our family history. She had a wonderful sense of humour with an infectious laugh. We will dearly miss our
“Auntie Dodi”.
No funeral by request.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. She has been a good friend to all of us for many years. The love of books was passed down to our daughters and many an evening was spent sitting reading to the girls before bed. She will be greatly missed.
