Tribute
We are deeply saddened by the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and loyal friend. Douglas Harry Williams died on November 10, 2020 at the age of 77 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, David Dediluke. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 53 years, Carol (Dediluke), his children Bob (Desiree) of Sydney Australia, and Carrie Donohue (Ken), his beloved grandchildren Amber and Alyssa in Sydney, Australia, Jack and Max, sister-in-law Diane Tait, nieces and nephew Kristen, Graeme (Rebekah) and Kathleen, relatives and many friends. We thank the staff at the Irene Thomas Hospice in Ladner for their wonderful care, and his doctors, Dr. J. Barclay, Dr. R. Porter, Dr. C. Andreou and his oncologist, Dr. Sylvie Bourque.
There will be a Zoom Celebration of Life on Dec. 12th at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, 10553 148th Street, Surrey, B.C. V3R 3X7 for the Legacy fund for the new church building. (Doug was the chairperson.)

Doug was a good friend and mentor. He quietly led and served everyone around him with that great smile, shared laughter and humility. I am sure Doug will be missed greatly by all who knew him. I know that he would want us to depend on each other just like we could depend on him.
