Elizabeth “Betty” van Tilborg (née Torry) passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 79. Betty shared 59 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mike, building a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Betty was a devoted mother to Theresa (James), Laura (Erik), and Michelle (Darren), and was predeceased by her mother, Esther; her father, Walter; and her son, Christopher. Betty cherished and adored her grandchildren Rachel (Shane), Ashley (Kevin), Jordon (Emily), Alex, Emma (Warren), and Jason (Evy) and her great-grandchildren Zoe, Tristan, Bennett, and Ronin. She will be lovingly remembered for her deep commitment to her family and the happiness she drew from life’s simple pleasures. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on September 26, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Central Heights Church in Abbotsford.
