Erika Falk

Tribute
Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on December 13, 2016. Erika was born on October 16, 1927 in Manitou, Manitoba. She married Bernard Falk on September 14, 1947 in Black Creek, BC and it was there that they raised their family of six children. Ben and Erika moved to Abbotsford in 1980 to be nearer to their grandchildren. For many years they were active in the Festival Committee of their home church, Central Heights, which utilized Erika’s love of serving others. Her servant heart was most evident in how she loved her family. Erika is survived by Ben, her loving husband of 69 years; her children Dan (Ruby) Falk, Laura (Terry) Belyea, Rick (Vange) Falk, Carol Falk, Gord (Bev) Falk, Gerry (Shirley) Falk; ten grandchildren and their spouses and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Central Heights Church in Nikkel Hall on Monday, December 19 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to MB Mission or MCC would be appreciated.
