Tribute
Erna (Penner) Heppner slipped away gently into the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, on October 26, 2016 (one day after her 91st birthday and one day before her 70th wedding anniversary.) She is survived by her faithful, loving husband, Henry Heppner, their children, Gary (May), Rick (Marcia), Sheryl (Lex) and Rose (Fred) as well as 7 grandchildren Kris, Kevin, Robyn, Mandy, Ryley, Sara and 11 great grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Rian, Emma, Ivan, Ben, Sarah, Anna, Mica, Arie and Aubrey; 2 brothers (Hank and Ted) and 1 sister (Frieda.) A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 3 at Chilliwack Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Gospel Chapel (for Ryley Heppner’s mission Moving Mountains) 7048 Donaldson Drive Grand Forks, BC V0H 1H0 or any charity of choice.

Henry and Erna lived across the street from on us Kent Rd, Evelyn Trelenberg was my Mom and I know she loved having Erna as a neighbor. I remember her as a very sweet lady and always enjoyed meeting up with her and Henry around town and catching up. Such a wonderful hope we have in knowing Jesus, it’s not good bye but see you later.
