Erna Margaret Isaak (Wall)
February 16, 1936 - July 4, 2022
Tribute
Erna Margaret Isaak (nee Wall) passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour early in the morning on Monday, July 4th 2022.
She is survived by her loving husband Jack and four children. Dianne (Jack), Rhonda (Paul), Jackie (Randy) and Michael (Shelly), 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a sister Lousie and two sister-in-laws Mary and Leona along with many other relatives and friends.
Erna married Jack on May 15, 1955 and during those 67 years they had many wonderful adventures. Camping with the children, visits with family in BC and Alberta, a family trip to Hawaii followed by many others with just the two of them, Caribbean cruises, Jamaica and New York.
Erna was a hardworking mother maintaining a well kept home, sewing matching outfits for her daughters as well as cleaning offices after hours. She was a gifted artist and decorator and enjoyed hosting holiday and family gatherings, large family pool parties and themed evenings for friends from church or Jack’s work. She had a beautiful alto singing voice which was regularly heard in the church choir, trios and quartets.
July 12, 2017, Erna moved into the Menno Home as her dementia was taking a toll on her everyday life. Here she was closer to Jack and so many good times were spent together with family and old friends.
The family wishes to thank Menno Home and to the staff for their exceptional care and personal contacts with Erna over these past 5 years.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to you, Uncle Jack, and your family in the loss your wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. I have many happy memories of your family’s visits to the farm when we were all much younger. We are thankful for the hope that we have that we will see our loved ones again. What a reunion that will be!
