Frieda Wiebe, 75, passed into glory on February 16, 2023, at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Frieda was born December 18, 1947, in Mexico, to Abram and Aganetha Wiebe. Pre-deceased by her parents, one brother, and one sister. She is survived by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
At age 4, the family immigrated to British Columbia, Canada where Frieda grew up and graduated from high school. After completing Bible school, she moved to Manitoba to follow her dream of becoming a nurse. She later returned to B.C. and continued her nursing career until her retirement. Frieda loved to garden, can food, sew, quilt, knit, and travel the world.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Rd., Abbotsford, BC on April 8th , 2023 at 2 pm. Frieda generously used her knitting and sewing skills, along with financial donations to assist those in need. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Hungry for Life International in Frieda’s name.

Sorry to hear of my Bethel Bible Institute roommate and friend’s graduation to glory. In my BBI year book she says, ” My aim is to serve HIM in whatever vocation I enter.” She did just that in her calling of serving God. My condolences to all family members.

So sorry to hear of Frieda’s passing. She was a good friend to all of her nursing classmates at WGH and I am glad she chose Winnipeg to do her studies. She will be missed at our alumnae reunions.
