George Bender
May 24, 1927 - July 29, 2018
Tribute
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of George Bender on July 29, 2018 at the age of 91.
George was born in Sebastiansfeld Russia and resided there until 1945. Being the sole survivor of his family he resided in Germany until immigrating to Canada where he eventually ended up in Abbotsford, employed as a mechanic for MSA Ford.
George is predeceased by his wife Marianne Bender (Fischer), his parents and siblings. George and Marianne did not have any children, but they had many friends in their German community. George and Marianne were avid ballroom dancers and enjoyed participating in the many social settings they participated in.
George is at rest and back with his beloved wife Marianne and I’m sure dancing once again as they loved to do.
A memorial service is being planned but no details are available at the time of this announcement.
