It is with great sadness that his family announces his passing on March 24, 2011. Gino was born Lorenzo Vantour in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 29, 1936. Predeceased by his parents Lionel and Rose; brother Ken and sister Estella; he is survived by his loving wife June; stepdaughter Susan (Gerry), grandsons Jeff and Darren; sisters Dolores and Bernice and brother Gus. Gino proudly served in the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the Whalley Legion, 13525 – 106 Avenue, Surrey on Friday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m.
