Tribute
Helen passed away peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2019.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Jim of 53 years, their daughters Lynn (Geoff) of Calgary and Leanne of Albuquerque NM, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and John Friesen, and 4 siblings.
After graduating as a Registered Nurse from St. Paul’s Hospital in 1962, she worked in Emergency, started 2 businesses, and returned to nursing after moving to Abbotsford from Victoria.
A celebratory service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church (Blue Jay St. and Maclure Rd.) on May 11, 2019 at 1:30 pm.

Dear Jim, Lynn,Leanne, Ruth and family,
My heart goes out to you all at this time of loss, Helen was beloved and will be dearly missed. I am terribly sorry that I can’t make it to the memorial service today, I had hoped to see you in person. Helen was more than a hair client, she was a friend and we always had wonderful visits. Her optimism, lively spirit and encouragement always lifted me up, and she made me feel very special.
I know God will be with you all, comforting and lifting you from sadness. She is home now.
