Tribute
Riek “Angel” passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, April 5, 2015 into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was born November 1, 1916 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and is survived by her loving family; son John (Cindy) of Edmonton, daughter Cathy Roosenberg of Abbotsford; grandchildren Leanne, Angela, Sean and Cory Roosenberg and Cara (Smarth) Clement, Racheal (Andre) Hummelman, Anthony (Easton) Vandenborn and 13 great grandchildren as well as her sister Lenie deHek of Edmonton and brother Guus Coorengel of The Netherlands and other family and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Ineke and her husband Herman in 2014. The family would like to thank the staff of Menno Home for their gracious loving care of Angel.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 34631 Old Clayburn Road, Abbotsford.

I am thinking Angel and you as a family as you get ready for the memorial service this morning. Angel was a bright light for Jesus at Menno Home. She always had a song of praise on her lips! We will miss her and her beautiful voice at Menno Home and I am sad to miss her service today because I am out of town. May the God of all comfort surround you with his love as you remember and miss a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
