Tribute
Henry passed away at the age of 93 (2 months short of 94) on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was predeceased by his loving wife Erna 2 years previous. Although he missed her dearly, he always said, “Ready to go or ready to stay.” He had no fear of death because he was always ready to meet the Lord. He is survived by his children Gary (May), Rick (Marcia), Sheryl (Lex) and Rose (Fred) as well as his 6 grandchildren, Kris (Carissa), Kevin (Dana), Robyn, Mandy (Caleb), Ryley (Nicole), Sara (Brennan) and 12 great grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Rian, Emma, Ivan, Ben, Sarah, Anna, Mica, Arie, Aubrey and Wyatt, and 3 sisters (Mary, Betty and Rene). A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 9 at Chilliwack Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to a charity of your choice.

Henry is the father of one of my best friends. He was one of the kindest and gentlest persons I have had the privilege to know. He always had a smile for everyone and I know he will be greatly missed by all. May God’s comfort and peace be with each family member knowing he has gone to a better place and one day we will see him again.
