Hugo Dietterle

Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hugo Dietterle on December 25, 2021.
Hugo was born in Klostitz, Romania and immigrated to Canada in 1952 with his parents and
siblings. The family settled in Alberta where Hugo met his wife Annie.
Hugo and Annie were married on January 30, 1959 in Coaldale, Alberta and then moved to
Calgary where their two sons Hugo and Harold were born. In 1964 they moved to Winfield, BC
and a few years later, their daughter Barbara was born. Throughout the years in the Okanagan,
Hugo had established a successful hardwood flooring business. In 1995 Hugo and Annie moved
to Abbotsford BC where they enjoyed retirement and spending time with family and friends.
Hugo is predeceased by his loving wife Annie (2015) and is survived by his three children, Hugo
(Isabella), Harold (Charlotte) and Barbara (Jim) and seven grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
Hugo will always be remembered for his loving support, kindness, generosity and sense of
humour. He will be truly missed
