Jacob (Jack) Aron Isaak
June 12, 1930 - March 23, 2026
Tribute
Jacob Aron Isaak passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour in the evening of Monday, March 23, 2026. He was predeceased by his loving wife Erna. He is survived by their four children. Dianne (Jack), Rhonda (Paul), Jackie (Randy) and Michael (Shelly), 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a sister Leona, a sister in law Mary, along with many other relatives and friends.
Jack married Erna on May 15, 1955 and during those 67 years they had many wonderful adventures. Camping with the children, visits with family in BC and Alberta, a family trip to Hawaii followed by many others with just the two of them, Caribbean cruises, Jamaica and New York.
Jack was a hardworking husband and father maintaining a well-kept home, and growing his knowledge and expertise in the dairy and poultry feed industry. As part of a solid progressive team of owners, he left Ritchie Smith Feeds with a well-organized and efficient mill along with beautiful fleet of equipment that are still seen in our city today. His skills with tools, equipment and organization guided him well as he volunteered and led staff and helped many customers in the basement at MCC. His hosting and barbecuing was famous at small and large family gatherings around the pool and hot tub.
Sadly after a stroke and after the work of great staff at Abbotsford hospital who stabilized him, he was moved into the Menno Hospital. After years with many good times together with family, friends and staff, Jack peacefully departed this earth. The family wishes to thank Menno Hospital and to the staff for their exceptional care and personal contacts with Jack over these past 14 years.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Garden Park Towers in the Magnolia Room on April 11, 2026 at 12:00 noon.

I had the pleasure of being part of the Jack’s care team at Menno Hospital. Always a smile and a wave. He brought such joy. He is missed but at peace.
