From: John barkman
Relation: Friend

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Neufeld family. Dr. J G was a friend, an encourager in so many ways. He was very kind to me personally and to Briercrest over the years. We shared many a ann. Meal with George and Anna in the month of May. It was a pleasure to have known your father. He was a very generous man and as a result the ministries he invested in will continue to lift up his Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ. Dr. George has joined Anna in heaven and things are eternally better.

It was a bittersweet emotion to see George’s obituary in the paper. I’ve been coming to take his bloodwork over the past ten years, and my first memory of him was me knocking on the front door, and him driving up the driveway and honking the horn with a huge smile on his face. He was very kind and as I was getting to know this very unique Doctor, we discovered we both loved the Lord. It made him so happy! He always gave me a huge apple, I will always think of him when I see one. When he wasn’t feeling good he still made sure to show interest in others, he was a witness for Jesus Christ and I for one have been blessed by him. I’m so thankful that I was honoured to meet him and his lovely wife.

From: Louise wiens
Relation: Relationship - How did you know the deceased?

To the family: My sympathies on the passing of your dad. I will never forget the kindness of your parents to our family, and their financial help as we came from Germany. Although my parents both passed away in 2014, I will never forget what your mom and dad did for us.
