born April 24, 1926 in Vancouver passed away peacefully October 25, 2010 in Abbotsford, surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by Joyce, his loving wife for 30 years; 2 sons Rick Delorme (Rose) and Ron Delorme (Bonnie); 4 daughters Janet (Dennis) Morphy, Sherri Farrar, Crystal (Ron) Sales and Linda (Roy) Ferraro; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; his sister Betty (Gordon) Denadel and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Gladwin United Church, 3474 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best!
