Tribute
Our wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on August 22, 2010 with her husband by her side. She bravely faced her recent diagnosis of cancer with the support of her husband Ken and children, Lynn (Jim) and Keith (Shirley), and grandchildren, Ryan and Nicole. She also enjoyed the support of so many friends and family, as well as the wonderful care provided by the staff and volunteers at Mission’s Christine Morrison Hospice and at the Abbotsford Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit. Jean’s zest for life, which fuelled her many interests, allowed her to touch so many people with her generous spirit. To celebrate Jean’s life, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Abbotsford Seniors’ Centre (33889 Essendene Avenue). Donations may be made to The Christine Morrison Hospice (7324 Hurd Street, Mission BC V2V 3H5).
