Tribute

A dedicated husband and wonderful father, John passed away Jan 12, 2015 into the presence of Jesus his Saviour to join his beloved mother, father and sister, Pat. Left behind and missing him are his wife of 61 years, Isobel, son David (Lynn) and daughter Christine (Peter), grandchildren Joel, Shannon, Elizabeth, Katherine, and his sister Peggi. John spent his life serving others, not only in his 50 year career serving up the best in retail meats in his stores – Watson Meats, Oakridge Meats, Lansdowne Meats, and later with Woodward's and Safeway, but also through many roles in his church – encouraging, counseling and supporting others. As well, he was an incredibly dedicated family man. He leaves a powerful example of what a great husband, father and person should be. We look forward to seeing you again, Dad.
