Kathe Blessin (Siems)

Tribute
Kathe Blessin (nee Siems) passed away September 9th at the age of 94. She was born in Hollwege, Germany in 1922. With her family she immigrated to Canada in 1931, living first in New Brunswick, then moving west to the Okanagan and finally to Vancouver where she married her husband, Werner Hans Blessin, with whom she shared 55 years of happy married life. He predeceased her in 2005. Kathe will be sadly missed by her loving children: Sandra Wiens, David (Ursula) Blessin and Sylvia Blessin; six grandsons: David Wiens, Joel Wiens, Mark Wiens, James Wiens, Kevin Blessin and Matthew Wiens; and two great granddaughters: Lina Blessin and Madeleine Wiens. A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6858 Fraser Street on Saturday, September 16th at 1 p.m.
