Lance Zurowski

Tribute
Lance died peacefully in the early hours of January 31, 2014 with his family by his side. He is survived by Bernice; son Kyle; daughter Denise; mother Erma; brothers and sister, aunts, uncles and cousins, other family members, friends and coworkers. Lance was born and raised in Abbotsford. He was a volunteer with Kinsmen and served with the Abbotsford Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years. Special thanks to Kelly Watson and Darrell Curtain and to the staff at Christine Morrison Hospice. A celebration of Lance’s life will be held Saturday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rancho, 35510 Delair Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations to Christine Morrison Hospice, 7324 Hurd St., Mission V2V 3H5 would be appreciated.

So very sorry to hear about Lance. He was a good friend to our family my Mom Evelyn, sisters Candy, Sandy, Brandy & Trudy. It didn’t matter when u saw Lance. He always had a big smile and a friendly hello to you ! A man with a very big heart and a contagious smile ! May u rest in peace Lance ! Our hearts and thoughts are with Lance’s family .

I am so sorry for your loss, Lance was a good friend of my late husband Dennis Friesen which is how I got to know him, he was a great friend with a big heart and always willing to help out. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know him. My condolences to the Zurowski Family.

Lance, how we have missed him these past months since he got sick.
He put a big Santa high up in a tree, on his property and from the time our kids were tiny, they were forever impressed that Santa lived at the top of Lance’s tree!
We would stop and talk on the street and share a few laughs and then, we would go along our way and live our own lives, as neighbours. What a sad, sad loss for Larch Street.
Love to the family, as this will be a difficult loss for you all.
