Marcia Antoinette Chabot (Cholowski)

Marcia Antoinette Chabot (nee Cholowski), age 79, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission BC. She was born in Vancouver on March 2 nd , 1945 to Walter Cholowski and Carina Di Giacomo and was the younger sister to Shirley. Marcia lived with her family in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver where she attended St. Patrick’s School and made lifelong friends.
Marcia was pre-deceased by her father Walter (1961), her mother, Carina (1999) and husband John Chabot (2000). She is survived by her three children, Daniel (Maria), Catherine (Todd) and Michelle (Giovanni) as well as eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
Marcia enjoyed a long and successful career in the food industry, often called “Marcia Mushroom” by those who knew her. After retirement, she enjoyed life with her family and friends, spending time in service of others and seeing the world on her many adventures.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 24, at 11 o’clock at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mission, BC.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to Mission Hospice Society.

I remember when we first met 48 years ago when my son Ian was born in August. Marcia was fostering Robbie and walking outside on Kamloops street. Then running early morning and Marcia initiating the Lite party which has met and had fun over the past 30 years. I will miss you
