In Loving Memory of Bryan Edward Ladick  “Ron” &  Marjorie Ladick

With profound sadness, our family announces the passing of Bryan Edward Ladick, lovingly  known as “Ron” to family and friends, who passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 95, and his beloved wife, Marjorie Ladick, who peacefully followed him on July 28, 2026, at the age of 92. After sharing 72  wonderful years of marriage, they were reunited once again after only four months apart.

Bryan was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on February 5, 1931, and Marjorie was born in  Calgary, Alberta, on May 31, 1934. They were married in Calgary on July 10, 1954, beginning a remarkable love story that would endure for more than seven decades. To everyone who knew them, Ron and Marjorie were the very definition of true love—a partnership built on unwavering devotion, kindness, laughter, mutual respect, and a lifetime of cherished memories.

In his autobiography, Ron wrote: “We were given two hands to hold, two legs to walk, two eyes to see and two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else for us to find.”

They found each other’s hearts early in life and remained deeply in love for more than seven decades, creating a family rooted in love, faith, and enduring values that will continue to inspire future generations.

Together, they demonstrated that love is not measured simply by years, but by the countless moments shared, the challenges faced together, and the joy they brought to one another every day.

They were predeceased by their beloved daughter, Laurie Ann Ladick (April 6, 1955 – July 9, 2016), of Calgary.

They leave to cherish their memory:

• Their son, Robert Ladick (Elaine);
• Their grandchildren, Shauna (Patrick Dawson), Stephen Ladick, and Daniel Ladick;
• Their great-grandchildren, Jakob Dawson, and Olivia Dawson

Ron and Marjorie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love they shared, the lives they touched, and the example they set. Their legacy of devotion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to one another will live on in the hearts of their family and all who had the privilege of knowing them.
