Tribute
It is with great sadness that the family of Martin McDonald announces his passing on October 25, 2018 in Abbotsford, BC after a brave battle with cancer. Marty was born in Salmon Arm, BC on June 25, 1951 to Gordon and Perry McDonald. Before moving to Abbotsford in 1980, he lived and worked for several years in Alberta. Marty had a long career in the construction industry as a shotcrete foreman before his retirement in 2015. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his favourite teams and sports. Marty is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharil, and son, Keith; brother John (Dawn); sisters Judy and Susan; brother-in-law Dan Wagner (Rhonda) as well as nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral service at Marty’s request.
