Nathan David Onstad
May 24, 1996 - February 19, 2019
Tribute
Unexpectedly at his home in North Delta, Tuesday February 19, 2019.
Nathan leaves his grieving family; mother Dianna Lorraine Plourde, father Anthony O’Connor Onstad, brother Aaron Onstad and sister Naomi Onstad, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many heartbroken friends. Nathan’s interests were varied; he had a latent talent for languages, and he loved pop culture and music. He found joy playing his bass and jamming with Aaron and Naomi and his friends. His offbeat sense of humor will be missed. Nathan worked hard to overcome his personal demons the last six months; we were blessed to witness his victories, and are so thankful that he spent his last months wrapped in the love of his family. In the end he slipped and fell. But Jesus caught him.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life. neither angels nor demons, neither the present not the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

I knew Nathan very well throughout High School and lost contact with him in the years following. Not a day went by without recalling all the funny things he and I had gotten up to. He will be well remembered by those who knew him best.
