Tribute
Born July 3, 1920 in Millet, Alberta, Olga passed into heaven August 14, 2010 in Abbotsford at age 90. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2009, daughter-in-law Marguerite Larsen, and 4 brothers, Ivan, Gordon, Carl and Nels Rude; she is survived by her 6 children; Dennis, Gabriola Island; Lauren Brown, Lethbridge, AB; Arlyne, Calgary, AB; Wayne (Dorothy), Langley; Donna (Rod) Black, Pakistan; and Joy, Vancouver; as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are her sister Jenny Rottenfusser, Calgary, AB; brother Stuart, Castor, AB and many nieces, nephews and their families. Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, 2950 Blue Jay Street, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Seeds of Hope children’s ministry (www.seedsofhopecm.com) Box 3474, Mission V2V 4L1 or Coastal Missions (www.coastalmissions.ca) Box 77, Chemainus V0R 1K0.
