Patricia Grace Bradley (McKinney)
February 6, 1940 - February 17, 2026
Tribute
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Patrica (Pat) Grace Bradley born February 6, 1940 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, on February 17, 2026 at age 86 in her home in Abbotsford, British Columbia surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Bill, two sons Dale and Troy, daughter Judy, daughter in law Chris two grandsons Josh and Graham, brother Ron and sister Bev as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends. Pat is predeceased by her parents Hilda (nee Bulmer) and James McKinney, sisters Marg and Shirley.
A dedicated mother, grandmother and aunt, Pat loved her entire family enjoying visits and get togethers and was known by nieces and nephews for her hand sewn Teddy Bears and baked goods. If her children were involved in a sport or activity, she was present and supportive always. Hours were spent at arenas, lacrosse boxes, baseball diamonds, driving to and from games or assisting with fund raising for a local club or school activity.
Her many friends appreciated her love of laughter, sincere conversation, caring for people and gift of gab. All will miss their time with Pat, the odd glass of wine, her love of roses but most of all her ability to laugh and deep appreciation of what life offered in all situations. Her strength of character was infectious.
Her youth was spent on Vancouver Island in Youbou, BC and attending Youbou Elementary School and Cowichan Lake High School. While working as a server at the Commercial Hotel in Duncan, BC she met Bill in 1955, dated for three years and married in 1958. On July 4, 2026 Bill and Pat were to celebrate their 68 th year of marriage. The couple spent time in Greater Vancouver before moving to and starting a family in Prince George, BC, later Abbotsford, BC, retiring on Kawkawa Lake near Hope, B.C. before returning to Abbotsford, BC in their later years.
Pat will be missed deeply by family and friends. However, her dedication to love, laughter, friends, teddy bears, wine and roses will live on through those she came in touch with over her lifetime. Her spirit will carry on by all those she came in contact with. Peace be with her.
