Paul Przybylski
June 29, 1932 - April 7, 2013
Tribute
Born in Chelm, Poland, Paul passed away peacefully at age 80. After World War II, he resided in Glückstadt, Germany and immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1952. There he met Marianne, his wife of 58 years. Moving to Kitimat for his career, they raised 5 children: Susan (Rick), Doris, Robert (Damaris), Martin (Corinne), and Dennis (Carolyn). After Paul retired, he moved to Abbotsford in 1992, where he got involved in volunteering as a peer counselor and teaching ESL. Recently, Paul moved to the Menno Home. Paul loved the Lord, was a great storyteller, and had a positive attitude, even though he endured many health issues. He is survived by his wife, children, 7 grandchildren, and siblings Alfred (Karin), Erika, Rita (Georg), Benno (Brigitte), and Marlene (Don). A celebration of life service will be held at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford on Monday, April 15th at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mennonite Benevolent Society would be appreciated.

Hi Susan: You may remember me as the secretary at Alcan (Public Relations) while you were a tour guide at the smelter. I saw your dad’s obit in the paper and felt compelled to drop you a line as I knew you better than I did your dad.

Dennis; for whatever reason I have found myself running into so many people from our MESS years, quite often under circumstances relating to the passing of a parent. (I suppose we’re getting on on years!) At a recent gathering your name came up and many fond memories were recalled, the next day I saw the obit for your dad. Thought I would just pass on my regrets…I remember a quiet unassuming man. Regards….Nancyjane
